It may be recalled that M Karunanidhi is being treated for urinary tract infection and fever. He was moved from his Gopalapuram residence in Chennai to Kauvery Hospital on Friday after his blood pressure levels dropped.
He was being closely monitored by a battery of medical experts who said his condition had been stabilised and that the DMK patriarch was responding to treatment.
The latest health bulletin released by Kauvery hospital late in the night states that his vital signs were normalising. It is learned that the Chennai Police has requested Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Palaniswamy to avoid visiting the hospital to ensure the situation doesn’t go out of control.
